We are helping funding several groups of suppliers of high-quality COVID-19 masks and PPE equipment to the urgency needed by governments and medical institutions around the world. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the world in a way we did not believe was possible. Governments around the world have responded differently to tackle the pandemic and what it brings to economic instability as well as increasing numbers of deaths. No matter the approach of your government or how they tackle the problem we believe there should at lest be simple protection available for everyone who wants to use it. We also believe all medical workers should have access to proper protection. Humanitarian Development and Trade support organisations and those working in finding supplies and solutions to the high demand for protective equipment and masks. We cannot solve the COVID-19 pandemic, but we can surely assist. Our focus is high volumes of quality protection supplies.

With the new quantum technology, Q-Life™ is taking on cleaning up rivers in South East Asia from pollution and toxic waste. We need to fight what we can to protect our environment, whereas the rivers are essential life nerves of the civilisations. Rivers around the world have suffered from simple waste pollution and industrial or agricultural chemicals for decades. To clean the rivers from waste is a problem that may be solved by pure manpower. However toxic waste and chemicals are a different problem that needs another solution. We are now supporting a technology that provides solutions. A few countries are using this quantum technology, and we are looking forward to see verified results applied around the globe.

The Bolivar project is a water reuse project. The project uses treated water from Bolivar Water treatment Facilities in Northwest Adelaide, South Australia. It aims to grow intensively farmed fresh fruit and vegetables under protected cropping systems at Bolivar. But also on one off Australia's premier horticultural regions, the Northern Adelaine plains. Sustainable sources supply the energy, such as thermal to heat systems, photovolatic panels, hydrogens methanation, and biomass. The project is sustainable, has zero carbon footprint, and employs the latest in high-tech greenhouse technology, using Australian greenwhousecladding polymers, plants, and bioscience resources. It's constructed over a 7 to 10 year period. The project will ultimately comprise 200 ha of sophisticated high technology greenhouses and 500 ha of broadacre field crops in the region. The project will create 2,200 new full-time jobs and approximately 2,200 indirect jobs. The construction period establishes additional 350 jobs. The project intends to primarily distribute vegetables to Asia, South East Asia and the Middle East markets. Humanitarian Development & Trade will provide funding for this project.

Food Security project in South East Asia. A large food security project help South East Asian territories with sustainable food production and distribution is a project who will benefit from Humanitarian Development & Trade. As world leaders grapple with COVID-19, global financial crisis, instability, and mass migration, an underlying more devastating situation is at hand - Global Food Security. The most acute food shortage in more than 50 years has, according to the World Bank, already left 821 million people "food insecure". Poor access to food, more particularly healthy food, contributes to undernutrition as well as diabetes and obesity. It is the real Food Security crisis, and it affects nearly 30% of the world's current population. The global community needs to acknowledge two main things. First, growth in agricultural productivity is the only way to ensure that people have access to affordable healthy food. Second, achieving this is a long-term effort. Humanitarian Development & Trade has approved the first access to funding. We are looking forward to updating you more about this project over time.
